GUESS WHAT TIME IT IS
You are completely correct, it is indeed time for the Yu-san herself to talk about talking about a discourse instead of discoursing the discourse cuz who doesn’t love discourse about discourse?!!?

But let’s be real, it’s pretty unrealistic for you to spend a fairly lengthy time online without realizing one of your common interests may not be so common after all.

Now occasionally, I don’t find the drive in me to actually go through with my plan to talk about said niche, as an example, i just don’t find pro-wrestling fun to bring up anymore. Fun to chat about? Of course! But notice my phrasing here…. Yes, I only enjoy it if I’m passively engaging with it.

But we don’t live in a perfect world like that where it’s that easy to contain all my desires. Sometimes…. I GOTTA GO WILD, I GOTTA GO BERSERK, I GOTTA UNLEASH THE BEAST INSIDE ME…..

…and discuss powerscaling like an absolute loser.

Yes, me bringing up death battle wasn’t happenstance, I do, tragically, engage in virtual doll-fighting.

Yeah sorry for all that build-up only for this not to be something cool like idk, gardening maybe? Now *that* could be cool, too bad I’m stuck with normie tastes, and now I’m about to make it your problem as well!

All snark aside, I’ve found myself occasionally with too much time on my hand (moreso than usual), in some communities I engage with, powerscaling blogs are…. A thing, a thing I wanted to contribute with cuz I still interact with the people there so this might be fun.

I’ll only work on this in my spare time, and I do mean like extra-extra spare time, cuz I’m more than well-aware this’d have very little payoff. My friends don’t get many comments on their blog sites (which to be fair, that’s thanks in large due to blogger being a rubbish platform ), so I’m not expecting to strike gold here.

I just like virtual doll fighting like any functional adult would.

The Spiderman in that video is way too relatable when I'm trying to insert myself in group discussions 😭

I never engaged much in Wrestling aside from that that Smackdown vs Raw PS2 game, but I did became quite interested in the behind-the-scenes stuff after I started following Maven's channel... for a while. Now his content is starting to feel repetitive for me. I guess there's only so much interesting secrets and life experiences you can share before having to rely on content farming.
Rassling are too... sterile these days in my opinion, iconic matches like TLC, lovemaking in the middle of the ring, bloody hardcore brawl etc., they don't make 'em like Mick Foley no more. I guess people seeing the illusion and kayfabe being dead plays a huge part but what were they expecting anyway? I'm here to watch big meaty men slapping meat, if you wanna get invested in storylines, there are much better soap operas out there.

But yeah I feel ya, I would say I have plenty of friends but I can only talk about my interest in tokusatsu or seiyuu stuff to like at most 2 of them. I spent the majority of my lifetime indulging about my niche alone, I kinda get used to it.
I get where you're coming from with the wrestling discussions. I kinda stopped acknowledging the wrestling thread on RGT because I don't keep up much with modern wrestling anymore, as well as a lot of modern wrestling discussion feeling like people arguing over which companies are the worst. It's not very fun to engage with.

Also, I've had a few power scaling discussions with friends irl. Dragon Ball, My Little Pony in particular. I've never thought to engage with those conversations online, though. Pretty interesting
