What the title says. Music pieces that inspire me to do better, in drawing, in writing, even in life! Can music teach you valuable life lessons? I’m not sure, but I’m sure someone somewhere became a better person after listening to SOAD, I wouldn’t doubt it.
Starting off with a classic. I discovered this band thanks to a dragon ball Z budokai 3 mod called “Budokai AF”, released all the way in 2007, if I’m not mistaken. It’s rather ancient. I tend to like the whole band, but this track feels like a good representation of them.
You just know I have to go with a banger. If someone is not convinced music lyrics can be deep, this is the track to do it. I listen to it a lot while playing gta.
How about a mood lifter? This is apparently an Australian band. I discovered it thanks to Vice City, one of the greatest radios of all time.
Ok, the gloves are off now. If you haven’t played Dead Rising 1 yet, you are truly doing yourself an honest disservice. Revisionists love to paint the 7th gen as dry and dreary, but legends like Dead Rising had absolutely nothing but charm & care, and the song selection exemplifies that.
Now obviously, Dead Rising 2 is a much better game; and the song selection solidifies this. There’s no better choice to make any fight seem world-ending than Celldweller and Blue Stahli.
Asking me to pick one celldweller really feels like asking me to pick between my kids. Anyways, the chef wasn’t that hard. If you keep doing at him, just get better equipment.
Hundred line! What a lovely game. The final boss really changed my brain chemistry.
Ahhhh midnight club, the goat of goats.
Of course, I’ll cap things off with the best radio playlist mix of all tone.
