Nah it’s just anime.

Sometime around mid-2025, I’ve laid out my plans for gaming being to beat as much Dragon Quest and as many visual novels (I’m totally not reading those for the H-scenes) as possible.

One thing I struggled to find the opportunity to lay down was my extended effort to track down all, and I do mean ALL, anime adaptations ever made that cover their entire manga, with minimum filler and a reasonable watch time or pace (none of that “mha season 1 only covers the first 22 chapters” bullshit.)

This list will not include anime originals like Gurren Lagann and Kill la Kill.


This would include (but not limited to):

• Full Metal Alchemist: there’s two adaptations actually but this still barely qualifies thanks to it’s extremely excellent 2003 series (which was so good it created a civil war in the fandom which is honestly pretty laughable, GET YOUT SHIT TOGETHER )
• Bakuman: an anime famous for “non-battle battle shonen”, which is a mentally ill way to refer to “thrillers”, but I digress. It’s pretty good. Famous in Italy, im told.
• Ping Pong the animation: it wouldn’t be fair to strictly stick to mainstream animations. Ping Pong is not underground anymore… but you get the idea. It’s just 11 episodes, you can watch it over a really long lunch.
• Fruit Basket: you thought I was gonna forget the fujo shows… DIDNT YOU??? Well, if you ever see me not bring up Yuris, Fujobaits or praise KH, you know I’ve been kidnapped. But to turn off irony-mode for a sec, FB is extremely good. Now I can be greedy and ask you to watch both adaptations, as they both mean a lot to me, but it’s perfectly fine if you only watch the remake.
• Cross Game:
• Attack on Titan: if politics were weeb-ified.
• Monster: hunter.
• Inuyashiki: I don’t think it’d be fair to just mention good stuff, so here’s a genuinely fucking hot garbage of a show that I wholeheartedly cannot recommend in good faith.
• Death note: ewww.
• Assassination Classroom: despite including the word ass three times, it’s surprisingly not ass.
• Your lie in April: hey don’t lie, that’s not good. Especially cuz April is my birth month.
• Scum Wish: I can’t tell if this is a joke but a Redditor said it counts so it must be true.
  
• Aria: I’m starting to doubt reddit… but bear with me here.
• Mushishi: oh hey I heard good things about this one.
• Gintama: I know this sounds like a lie but PLEASE PLEASE, take my word for it.
• Haikyuu: volleyball or sth idk.
• Midori Days: i swear on my hand that this anime is good. If you don’t get this joke, it’s funnier if you don’t.
• Dragon Quest Dai: this is debated apparently.
• Another: another… another what, huh?
  
• Banana fish: banana fish? I’ll banana fish you if you read the entire one punch man webcomic.
  
• Basilisk: I watched this as a kid!!
• Hellsing Ultimate: BERSERKERR!!! IM A BERSERKER!!! Wait, wrong abridged series.
• Tomo-chan is a girl!!: really? Did you ask her pronouns first? Smh…
• Working: I don’t want to debate with myself if this counts or not so I’ll include it anyways. If it doesn’t count, google “Toru Yano shrug”
• Giji Harem: i think this anime is dogshit so it’s a shame that it counts.
  
• Ushio no Taro: waaaohhhh, it sure been a while since a battle shonen popped up here.
• Initial D: wait… really???
• Hi score girl: please watch this it’s genuinely really good.
• Kuroku no Basket: this anime is good but it hasn’t earned the fujobait privilege due to feeding into the male gaze trope, that’s like mixing chocolate with gravy.
• Honey and Clover: I have no joke prepared for this so I’ll just say Clover from Totally Spies.
• Maria the Virgin Witch: I’m not sure what joke I’d make here so listen to this ice cube beat.
• Mirai Nikki: are we there yet?
• Parasyte the maxim: cool show!
• My hero academia: absolutely flawless show with zero flaws and totally won’t spawn a 10-part rant.
• Fate/Kaelid: huh, huh???
• Food wars: this anime has a lot of tasty “snacks”, if you catch my drift teehee.
• Honda kun: people did not exaggerate enough how dogshit this anime really is.
• In this corner of the world: What?
• Jormangand: Or however you spell it.
• Seven deadly sins: this one kinda surprised me, I ain’t gonna lie.

This is where I decided to stop for the sake of my own sanity and for me to finally put my phone down after 4 hours of relentless writing and eat the shawarma i just made.

Yeah, the “but not limited to” part was literally me covering my bases. I did actually always intend to create a masterlist (not too unlike what I did with visual novels).
