As someone who prefers PC, consoles are for those who want their game to work every time without fuss. A PC game will work like 99.7% of the time, but you still have to tweak graphics settings, do occasional system maintainence, and that 0.03% of the time could mean a wasted day off troubleshooting especially if you aren't computer saavy. A console works 99.99% of the time, typically has better performance to price ratio, and everything is set up for you. Some people just want the absolute most idiot proof way to play CoD with the boys after working their asses off in the sun for 10 hours.
