Comfort Food or Novelty?

~OOC~
If we are talking about food, my comfort food is steamed veggies and rice with a bit of soy and Worcestershire sauce.
Now, if we are talking about comfort "food" in the context of music and such, I often listen to what I did as a teenager, metal and goth.
The same goes for anime and movies. When I really feel down in the dumps and want to cheer myself up, I watch old corny shows like Forever Knight, Friday the 13th The Series, X-files and such as comfort "food"
I made a vegetable curry the other night. Was delicious with some rice on the side. Broccoli & cucumbers are some healthy comfort foods for me, with mac & cheese pasta, toasted tomato & cheese sandwiches and orange & poppyseed cake being some less healthy ones :sailor-embarrassed:

That sounds Delightful delicious

I like mac & cheese from time to time, though when I do make it, I tend to put a lot of jalapenos and garlic in mine.
As I have stated before, I have never been much of a sweets eater. I never had what they call a sweet tooth.
I like to cook some vegetables in my mac & cheese. Peas, carrot & broccoli in particular. I'm too old for spicy food these days. I don't think I could handle your version of mac & cheese, as nice as it does sound

With both my mother's and my grandmother's influence, I was always destined to have a sweet tooth :sailor-embarrassed: Although, I typically don't have icing on my cakes.

Well sometimes I substitute the peppers with sweet onions and a bit of lemon zest instead of garlic, if I have to be around anyone the next day.
As garlic is hell on your breath, as you know. You almost have to gargle bleach to get it off your breath for the next day

Fair enough. No even as a child I didn't like sweets much.
I actually preferred apples and oranges and what have you to candy and cookies. And I still do, honestly.
Yeah, I cook with quite a bit of regular onion, so I know how that goes :nervous:

Also fair! I do love a good apple. I always try to have some with my cereal.

Sometimes when I rewatch something that I really like, I proceed to rewatch it again multiple times in the following days. Sometimes just specific scenes or unordered episodes.

Most notable one for me is Breaking Bad.
