Any of Terminal Reality's Spookhouse universe, so either another Nocturne or another BloodRayne.
Marvel vs Capcom, but I'm pretty sure a new one is coming at some point in the future.
Dead Rising, probably RIP after the half-assed remake didn't sell well though.
Dead Space. Fuck you EA so much.

Lunar.

Please give me back Lunar.

Not Dragon Song, not the millionth remake, but Lunar 3.

Please don't be like Valve and learn how to count up to the third entry.

Mega Man has been dormant for far too long, barring X-Dive and the various collections.

I'll also mention F-Zero, but I will admit, I am unsure if Nintendo could deliver a new entry on par with GX and X, especially if the Switch 2 lacks analog triggers. I still remain hopeful.

Marvel Vs Capcom - as Octopus mentioned, this one feels likely at some point in the near future.

Castlevania is a big one for me, too.

*folds hands together sternly* Hamtaro adventure games

Also I miss DDR home releases. Not that they were good in the US, bc I have a lot of issues with them, but I miss that they were a thing at all. Konami should reintroduce home releases with an arcade song experience (all unlocked, international songs you’d expect from the franchise) and a Bluetooth (firmer) softpad. Although the homebrew scene has always been here for that.

Y’know, I gave a non-serious answer but if I had to pick, I’d really want a Pac-Man World 4!
Thankfully, I am slowly getting my wish. Pac-Man’s old voice actor finally reprised his role for the first time in over 20 years, that’s massive!
And repac 2 is basically a reimagining, so it’s actually already a brand new adventure in some sense of the word!

Isn't there a distinction between game series that are dead and those that simply ended at two or three games? Sequels aren't always the goal.
