Hey everyone, I wanted to know, what are your all-time favorite fighting games? Here's my Topster of my all-time favorite fighting games!

Mortal Kombat 9
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
Street Fighter 2

I want to play Dead or Alive 2 on ps2 with someone but didn't had the opportunity yet

Would take forever to list them all, so here's just my 4 GOATs for now.

If we would be keeping it to 10, I'd say these would be mine. I have a clear bias for Capcom's 2D fighters, no doubt. Guilty as charged. Some games just outside of the 10 I included would be Alpha 3, Garou MOTW, UNICLR, and Melty Blood AACC.

My favorite recent-ish release is probably Melty Blood Type Lumina. I'm a Tsukihime fan, and found Vlov and Shiki very fun. My gripes with it were generally fixed with the game's patches (namely, shield and rapid beat). I only wish the game was supported longer.

I enjoy Tekken, Soul Calibur and Blazblue at more of a casual level. This goes for KOF generally, as well.

One of my least played genres because of the time investment required to get good.
But I did play Tekken 3, 4, and T2 and really enjoyed those. Got decently good with Hwoarang and Steve.
Street Fighter II Turbo was another favorite.

The only other fighting games I've played were Soulcalibur III, BlazBlue Continuum Shift Extend, Mortal Kombat Trilogy, and Evil Zone of all things. None of those really stuck.
