Due to personal matters that I won't disclose. I just need my time and there's no way around it.

We all want a break from the slop that the internet has became and I'm glad that this forum served that purpose, and I know it's disappointing that I'm now taking it away.

I might make another community in the future (maybe), this time based on planning rather than on impulse (and with a better software choice rather than Xenforo Cloud). If that happens and you wanna have chances of being invited, there has to be a way for me to contact you, either directly or via another community, otherwise you're not helping me there.

Every donation done so far will be refunded.

Hopefully this should give enough time for people to save art, blog posts and such, and also keep contact among yourselves one way or another.

I am sorry.
 
Damn, the choice is ultimately yours. I'm sure GH will come back better than ever in the future. Thanks for all the fun Ciro and for running a significantly better forum than a different one that won't be named.
I was really happy to find a space and voice my thoughts with the community. I want to apologise for not keeping up with my articles on time and will make it up to the last person I had for interview.

Thank you for running this, for however short it's been. Good luck with your personal matters, I really hope they go well. I'd greatly appreciate an invite if you ever get around to reviving it. I'm HouraiTeahouse on most sites, though I'd imagine you're probably not gonna have too much luck with search engines because of the doujin circle under that name. But that's who I am on discord, and likely will be on whatever the replacement to discord will be (doubt I'd be lucky enough to get just Hourai).

That's a shame, but it is what it is. Had a blog post ready for tomorrow, and I just changed a couple things on it to reflect the news.

I know I've been rather quiet (and perhaps one-dimensional when I have spoken), but I do appreciate everyone talking to me, or at the very least listening. I do have a Discord linked on the other site, so if you want to keep the connections, you can find me there for the time being (at least until I know of a usable alternate, because...well...).

Thanks for running this place the last 6 months, ciro.

sucks that the site is shutting down. i had a big comic project i was going to make about a ridiculous challenge run i am doing for ff3 on the psp.
i was going to make a thread, post some thoughts about it and some drawings with the solo character dealing with all of the bullshit that happens in the game. i'm stuck at the water crystal, stupid lizard enemies keep turning my character to stone.
hopefully when everything has settled down and gone back to normal for you, i'll be past that part and i'll have some of the comic done so that whenever you get ready to try again, i'll have a nice big batch of texts and images to post into a thread to give everyone something entertaining to read and chat about.
in the meantime, i'll leave this gif here for you and everyone else.

Thanks to everyone that shared stuff, posted art or memes, and just goof arround in the last 6 months. I am really glad that I was part of this project and still believe that this is one of the kindest places i ever formed part of.

Thank you also for the inmense and warm support you guys gave Ciro. He is a kind and amazing person that I am soo glad to have in my life.:mikuheart:

This is really unfortunate to see happen; I understand that you're struggling at the minute and I hope you stay strong and take a break from all the on-going stuff in your life. The decision to pull the plug is up to you. In any case, I've had such a great time getting to know each and every one of you for over five-months on the site.

Thank you so much to @ciro64 for the warm welcomes. I've known him on GBAtemp since he joined, and that's why he introduced me to Gaming-Heaven. He is kind and the best person to be around.

To anyone listening: for those who would like other means of contact, send me a private message for Discord friend request (bc they're disabled by default due to spam), e-mail address, or visit GBAtemp so that you can get in-touch. I'm omnipresent on forums so it's not that difficult to find me elsewhere.

I'm sorry to hear it, but I understand. Thank you @ciro64 for having me here for the 4 or 5 months that I've been here. I'm hoping you get the time you need to refresh and process whatever your personal matters may be 🫂 I'm happy to have been a part of this community in my time here. Thank you for facilitating this place and giving me a platform to express myself in ways I find difficult either in real life, or in other forums.

I have a few GH users on my Discord already, but if anyone else wants to keep in touch through there, feel free to DM me. I'm also on RGT, if you'd rather get in touch there. I don't use other social media, and my email is my shoot name, so I might rather keep that to myself. I've got time, so I might even set up another email just to keep in touch with people from here. I don't know.
