A very interesting idea!

This was a team I used for the emerald battle frontier a number of years back. I substituted Milotic for Suicune on occasion, and I also used Skarmory, Swampert and Gengar as well.

I generally used one of the dragons, Milotic/Suicune and Metagross when I could only pick three.

I truly do miss the battle frontier - I loved messing around in the different facilities in Gen III and IV.

I don't have a shiny Milotic in Gen III, but I do in ORAS! Chain fishing under the bridge in Route 119 (which has a 100% Feebas encounter rate in ORAS) makes it far easier to find and catch a shiny one there.

(I also love the Scizor and Lapras picks - those are some of my favorites as well!)

Explanation: my 6 favorite mons :3

Absol (Mega): Even though i am know for being the jolteon girl, my actual number one favorite is Absol (and its mega). Is just soo cool looking and carry me through Emerald, XY and Alpha Sapphire. Nicknamed after my IRL dog (R.I.P.). I have a tattoo of it on my left arm :3

Jolteon and Espeon: This two share second place, i love every eevee, they are easily my favorite pokemons too but dont want to flood the card with all of them u know :3. Jolteon nicknamed after the japanese name of Jolteon (very basic i know but i love how they said it on the Pokemon Origins anime) and Espeon after my favorite Fire Emblem Character.

Meowscarada: This is my most recent addition to the top, but gosh dammit i love this line! easily my now all time favorite starter, dethroning my long standing cyndaquil. They are nicknamed after my irl Cat :3 (fitting cause in all my pokemon playthroughs, that are not for my twitch channel, i name the starter after him)

Hydreigon: BIG DARK DRAGON MONSTER!! HELL YEAH! in all seriousness, this is kinda like my first pokemon i really made a connection, having one on Pokemon Black back in 2010 and i carry him through Pokemon Bank and Home to current Gens :3. Nickname after the Raths, the Pikachus of the Monster Hunters series (fun fact: i also have a rathalos tattoo on my left arm)

Chandelure: Similar situation to Hydreigon but with the added benefit of being my main in Pokken, that i have a lot of fond memories for playing in classes with my friend in my last year of high school :3 (shotouts to Chano for bringing his switch to classes) Nicknamed after my favorite album of my Favorite band Bring me the Horizon :3
