I'm re-watching Sailor Moon, so I figured I'd make a thread.

Did you know I have the same birthday as Ami[Sailor Mercury]?!

My favorites are Uranus and Mercury.

Based Gard, Mars is my fav. I watched the remake even tho it has some slight hiccups in animation. its a good adaptation of the manga.

Watch the reboot. Crystal is really good about just getting with the main plot without the filler the OG has. Ik a lot of fans would crucify me for this but meh.

i guess people like the old school artstyle but the remake holds up. its the only way to watch Sailor moon without the 300 episodes of filler

I rewatch the OG pretty regularly but I certainly don't expect normal people to do it XD

yeah it has like 100+ epsiodes, i mean people stomach One Piece and yet cant 100+ episode shows? kinda bizarre

I think it's a 'you had to be there'. Like with DragonBall. I respect its place in the anime world but I'm never gonna sit down to watch it.

The 2003 live-action Sailor Moon may not be as entertaining as the anime but I love how faithfully it re-creates the costumes! Plus, I find the J-drama-style acting charming.

There's a lot of silly stuff in this show and it's a big part of why I like it

It's weird knowing I don't have the stomach to watch any 100+ eps show nowadays, I used to religiously watch Sailor Moon on TV every week with my sister, and I got no recollection of it whatsoever.
Also I'm a Rei guy.

If it’s any consolation, one piece is the golden standard of how not to do an adaptation. It strictly follows the one manga chapter per episode format which makes the episodes feel agonizingly slow.
