Alright sorry I’m just trying to calm down my germophobia
What’s your means of maintenance and maintaining longevity for your systems, controllers and similar stuff?
How do you like them to clean up?
I imagine it gets messy after one session of senran- nvm.

I cleaned one of my n64's once (as in opening it up, separating its parts and brushing them and etc), that went pretty well.

I swapped the rubber beneath the buttons and the analog stick from one of my n64 controllers, that one didn't go so well because the stick isn't completely responsive after a few uses. Opening it up again to adjust how tight the screw is will be a pain.

My Dell OptiPlex 9020 PC is just about due for a cleaning. My Dell Precision M4600... Well, I'm cleaning it as I'm Taking it apart, and my Asus VivoBook R540N has been cleaned. Now as far as my n s , Uhhhh I'll get back to you on that.

I'm dusting everything once every 2 months, only open up consoles if it needs thorough cleaning. I also swapped all the things that used internal batteries like Saturn or VMUs once every 1 or 2 years.

Two to three times weekly, my gaming stuff gets a good dusting, at least twice a week.
My PCs are opened up monthly, and I blow them out with compressed air, the cases are cleaned at least twice a week as well.
Once a year, I open my gaming systems up and give them a thorough air cleaning. Each time I finish playing a game, I wipe down the controller with alcohol hand wipes. Once a month, I take a toothbrush with rubbing alcohol and clean the analog sticks, buttons, and D-pads.

I'm not a hypochondriac, I just don't like dust and filth.

Mouse and keyboards get the same treatment as the controllers, just not as often, twice monthly for them

Jeez I've gotta dust our computers out. My partner has liquid cooling so it doesn't get as dusty, but mine has like 9 fans so it's always dirty.
