Xenoblade & Metroid talk

What's y'all opinion about Metroid Prime 4 trailer having a motorcycle to ride a seemingly open world? My brother hated it

I don't think it's going to be an open world, but that whole trailer was weird, like if Nintendo wanted to make that huge game selling mind blowing trailer but failed miserable , the whole motorcycle threw me off but Metroid doesn't have bad games ( copium maximum)

Same, hated it mostly because I feel it will take a lot of the exploration away, unless the map is huge or everything is underground connected through mini elevators and for some reason, you need a fucking motorcycle instead of running at high speed

I just hope they know what they're doing and prove me that I was wrong all the time, I truly want to be told that my ideas was stupid and send vids of gameplasy where the chozobike is actually genious and the best implementation in the story of the gaming, but I can't just sold myself to such idea, everything about it screams "I'm half cooked lmao"

Btw, what similarities between Xenoblade and Metroid inspired you to group specifically the two in the same thread? :O

Not complaining, just curious

Because excluding Zelda are the only peak Nintendo franchises ( and I like them )

Metroid Zero Mission is potentially a top 10 game for me. The GBA Metroids are graphically appealing, but ZM in particular stands out for the sheer amount of freedom it gives the player. It's very replayable.

The other Metroid I've finished is Prime 1's GameCube release, which I also adored. Great atmosphere. I've got Fusion hiding in the backlog, which I'll also get to at some point.

Xenoblade 1 is incredible. The music and story stick out to me even now, years since I've last played the game. That title theme is unreal - one of, if not, my favorite piece of music to come from games as a medium.

I haven't followed either series too much aside from the releases I've mentioned.
