Yeah, WALL-E was super critical about late-stage capitalism and very sentimental but that was its strength. Up is the same way but with a more grounded though no less sentimental story. They're both fantastic films that combine emotions with grand adventures and changing those aspects of them...

A novel called The Night Circus. I was expecting magical circus shenanigans and while that was occasionally delivered in uninspired, non-detailed paragraphs, what took up most of the story was a convoluted Romeo-and-Juilet-style romance with added child abuse.

I like it better than Hollow Knight. That said, there's this weird dichotomy with the bosses: half of them I think are peak game design and the other half are pure cancer.

I have to glaze Sailor Saturn now: she is so goddamn based and the strongest Senshi (in base form) because her planet gives her dominion over death and destruction. 10/10, would glaze again :love: Also, her awakening in Crystal is so badass

This sounds like an amazing setup for a clash of morals. I hope that's where the narrative is headed. So many rom-coms could have been saved with consequences like these whenever the lady protag runs off to drag shit out. I love when Bruce tries to conjure an emotion other than 'moody' 😆

Being outgoing and friendly are good things! I'm just an introverted goblin, so I prefer small social gatherings over large ones. I think my background has something to do with it. I grew up in a big city that was always crowded, so now I seek the opposite.
