Art Dumping

It's weird. The black/white sketches look & feel a helluva lot more natural than the coloured one which is arguably the worst one. Probably because the base was bad to begin with or it's the only one where I attempted smaller lines.
You mean base color? Base looks fine. I think its more in the fact the hair has so many splits that are "aimless" or just randomly place.

Yeah that's exactly what I was talking about. The more I look at it the worse it gets 😭
It was even the last one I did, wonder why I just abandoned all logic there. Gotta take my time next time.

you should draw it again, 1:1 next too it and see if you can improve on it. You can focus on the parts that you mess up and you don't have too worry about making anew pose

That's actually a great idea, will do that.
remember anim8 if your struggling on a certain angle, just keep drawing it side by side till you fill the whole paper and then hide the reference i try to draw it from memory. i see artist just trace over a certain angle or reference and then draw it side by side till they dont need a reference and could draw it from memory.

I'm kinda lowkey peeved that I decided to colour this in. The B&W version looks so much better to me. Sigh, oh well. Lesson learned. Don't try to make things better than they need to be. I'm just glad I took a picture of it in B&W before I decided to colour it lol
