I believe this is essential. It’s fun hearing about what games you finished! Here’s some stuff I beat in the past month or so.

Starting off with an underwhelming game. This legitimately had all the right ingredients but it was undercooked all around.

Next up is Dishonored. Don’t let the dudebro-y look disway you, this game is genuinely fun!

Last but not least is Hundred Line Last Defense academy. Mouthful title aside, this is now my third favorite game of all time. Right behind GTA IV and Persona 5. It’s among the all-time greats such as Umineko and Dark Souls. I adore it so much.

I’ve had decent looking hunting achievements for it and i should be done sometime within next week!

Oh cool! I’ve someone on discord who’d enjoy this. She’s a massive Pokémon nerd. How’s the hack difficulty-wise?
i say is on par with mainline :3 i did not wipe once but i did have some close fights, but trainers use more items and synergies than default pokemon soo there can be times you will have to play around that!

My only critiques from a balance perspective, i think some types are really hurt by the typing of the captures. Most of the enemies are running steel types soo having something that can hit that is a must. I say that the fire type and the ground type are pretty much a must in any team for that, and maybe a rock/electric type to counter flying types. I started with the grass type and i boxed him in pretty much a lot of fights with no penalty cause grass is not really good in a world fill with steel, poison, bug and fire.

Ok, that’s a relief. Me and my buddies aren’t too fond of difficulty hacks. Shame they use items but it’s not the end of the universe. I imagine the new maps really carry this hack.

ABSOLUTELY! And the writting too! If they are familiar with the Paper Mario/Mario and Luigi series they will sure enjoy it. I cracked a lot of laughs while playing it, and i absolutely love that the team did the best effort to reference all the mario franchise :3

I wish I could play this game for the first time again. The DLC is superb as well! I remember receiving the game as a free game with gold on the Xbox 360 back in 2014.

Did you go for a low chaos run, or did you instead run with a high chaos one?

High chaos all the way! Felt it was a nice contrast to me always doing the “good guy” run first like I’d always do in inFamous.

I did another playthrough of Doom 2016 just the other day!

I also just finished Way of the Demon yesterday on my newest Nioh 2 character, though I plan to keep going.
Damn, Doom and Nioh back to back? That’s a lot of mental fortitude!
Once I got my dark souls plat, I was drained for months LOL.

I really like high difficulty action games, they're unironically how I relax :moxiewink:
Have to say that I relate! DS1 is currently my sixth favorite game of all time, I think I reached a point where I have a healthily-toxic relationship with its jank and cheese. You will never win my heart unless you mid-roll with full Havel armor and smough’s hammer like a true tryIMG_9505.jpeghard!

So far this year;

Star Ocean: The Last Hope
Star Ocean: First Departure
Star Ocean: Second Story R
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
Legend of Zelda: Skyward
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
Resident Evil 4
Starfox Adventures
Starfox 64

I'm sure I'm forgetting something. I have a bad habit of not finishing games.

Where do a rougelike is consider completed LMAO?
cause i beaten a lot of runs of Balatro(including goldstaking one deck), The Binding of Isaac and ROR2 this year (In RoR2 i am missing only one achievement of the last dlc) :3

That’s definitely a philosophical question 🧐

Nice! Seeing you play a ton of balatro did make me check it out eventually.
