SignUp Now!there are a few things in the games that point to this. i think one of the gen 1 games had dittos appear more often the closer that you got to mewtwo.I'm pretty sure it was proven false, but I still like the Pokemon fan theory that Ditto were failed attempts to clone Mew before they eventually succeeded in making Mewtwo.
In a similar vein, I ship Shamir & Catherine in Fire Emblem Three Houses. At best, the game can have them end up as "travelling companions", but I'd prefer to think of them as a lesbian couple. I also think Edelgard is bisexual, although I think the lesbian side of that is mostly just subtext.I was thinking of mine, and a shocking amount of them are *insert character here* is gay, oftentimes due to a lot of evidence that I have to back up that claim.
So, uh. Shiori Fujisaki of Tokimeki Memorial is a lesbian. The poor girl smells so heavily of comphet.
sometimes you don't need to be blunt with characters getting together. if i remember correctly, one of the character endings in fire emblem 7 said that lyn and fiora spend a lot of time together after the game ends if they have an A support rank. shamir and catherine seem to have a similar vibe based on their conversation that i read over on the wiki. and edelgard is bisexual, at least with the girl version of the avatar character. In a similar vein, I ship Shamir & Catherine in Fire Emblem Three Houses. I'd argue Edie is flat-out homosexual, and the only reason this isn't a thing is because someone, somewhere, thought that it shouldn't be allowed to stand, for one reason or another. Whether that's because making it so Bylad can't romance a female character wasn't going to be something that flew for someone with enough power (or was assumed to have enough power), the classic homophobia, or some other reason. In a similar vein, I ship Shamir & Catherine in Fire Emblem Three Houses. based on what i have seen and played of the games in this series; i think it's just the same set of events playing out in a infinite loop with minor variations every time. Most of the Dokapon games involve you going on a quest to save the kingdom, while also trying to get as disgustingly rich as you possibly can. Richest player ends up as the next king of the kingdom (even if he wasn't the one that took out the final boss).
The one headcanon I tried to make into a real thing was that, once everything was said and done, the entire kingdom couldn't pay back what the new king had earned. In order to try to make it happen, rapid inflation a la Zimbabwe occurs, and the Dokapon government ends up imploding on itself within just a year or two. All this because the previous king (now with a legacy as one of the worst kings in history) made such an incredibly greedy campaign, which would go down as an unmitigated disaster.
Exactly. The aftermath was so bad, someone contacted Garland to see how time-looping magic worked.based on what i have seen and played of the games in this series; i think it's just the same set of events playing out in a infinite loop with minor variations every time.
It's almost kind of a trope of its own, where you can't have explicitly gay characters or romance options in Japanese media. Not all Japanese media, mind you, but I've seen some anime and played some games in the past where it really felt like it was naturally building up to same sex characters getting together and then they'll either ignore it, or play it up for comedy/shock value.I'd argue Edie is flat-out homosexual, and the only reason this isn't a thing is because someone, somewhere, thought that it shouldn't be allowed to stand, for one reason or another. By the game's standards, she is considered bisexual. But I ultimately disagree with what the game says.
I need this hanged on my wall.
I'd argue it's the majority of gaming that has this problem. Every datable character must be into the player regardless of gender, regardless of their actualy tastes (they're usually straight), because this is a video game and appeasing the audience is more important than letting people forget that these characters are just lines on a script. Incidentally, this is kinda why I really like 3H's bisexual characters. Aside from Edie, who doesn't count, every bi character has their own preferences, instead of the standard 50/50 or straight+ (straight, but will date you if you want). Dorothea heavily prefers women but isn't against dating men if she finds a good one, Mercie prefers men but still likes women, that stuff. It's refreshing, and a very rare actual example of bisexuality in gaming. It's almost kind of a trope of its own, where you can't have explicitly gay characters or romance options in Japanese media. i wouldn't be surprised if that was true.My other headcanon is more of an in-joke but it's basically the real name of the Hero of Light in FF1 is "John Fantasy".
You can't forget that Yuta, of the Hirose family in Yakuza 6, is actually Light Yagami from the Japanese live-action Death Note movies (played by the same actor). So, obviously, he was found out as Kira and had to flee to Onomichi and start a new life under a new identity.Ogami from Sakura Wars is the ancestor of Hazuki Ryo, they look similar. Shenmue, Virtua Fighter, and Yakuza series takes place in the same universe.
Speaking of Yakuza, the true purpose of reality show Takeshi Castle is to find a worthy guardian to the Secret of Onomichi, to help with this process, Toru Hirose under the 'guise of Emperor Takeshi, asked a former commander of Hikari Sentai Maskman, General Tani, to find suitable contestants, due to his prior experience fighting against Emperor Zeba. The member of Hirose Family are descendants/relatives of the show's winners.
Aaaand the reason why Daidoji wanted to kept Yamato sealed away is due to it's alien technology, based from Iscandar Civilization, Kiryu revealing Yamato's existence putting earth on the crosshair of Garmillas Empire, which kickstarted Project Izumo years later at year 2199, effectively started the plot of Space Battleship Yamato.
And so, the 3 games I mentioned earlier indirectly becomes a part of Leijiverse.
Oh and remember Project x Zone? Where the 3 main characters of said games appear? It's all canon too!
Project x Zone IS canon to Super Robot Wars OG, Sanger Zonvolt appear in PxZ chapter 4, which happened sometime after SRW OG episode 2, Haken Browning also appear in chapter 7 I believe, which happened after SRW Exceed. They come back after PxZ during SRW Moon Dwellers chapter 18, where they both rejoined the party.
And we have Gilliam Jaeger in SRW, who literally has hop through multiple universe and... and... you know what ima stop here.
