You can't forget that Yuta, of the Hirose family in Yakuza 6, is actually Light Yagami from the Japanese live-action Death Note movies (played by the same actor). So, obviously, he was found out as Kira and had to flee to Onomichi and start a new life under a new identity.

The reason Hirose died was because Yuta found a suspiciously dark looking notebook and proceeded to write his name like a dumb ass for no reason
