It seems like another GTA legend is come-back via an upcoming GTA-online update. Now, confessingly, this author doesn’t have the greatest of experiences with most multiplayer games, let alone GTA Online, however I did achieve 100% in-game completion in most GTA games, including GTA V, so this is potentially a golden opportunity to jump in for the first time.

The update includes new vehicles, and a fully voiced story expansion bringing back Ned Luke for his legendary role as Micheal De Santa, one of the greatest gaming protagonists of all time.

If you were initially skeptical like I was, it seems like GTA Online can be played mostly solo. Some heists require 4-persons, but there’s a couple solo activities that nets you decent exp.

Gotta say, it’ll be weird coming back to GTA Online for the first time in 12 years, normally I’d prefer waiting for VI, but alas.

If you’re like me and not too jazzed about any of this though, I got a few alternatives for you.

Some games to ease up the GTA VI wait…

Let’s just face it, 6 is taking forever to come out, but there’s no point in waiting, when fans have already created phenomenal fan projects. Links below.

First we have the insanely stellar GTA Vice City: Nextgen Edition, a total conversion mod that transforms both GTA IV and GTA Vice City into a love child of the two. You need GTA IV: Complete Edition on steam, but there’s ways around that if it’s delisted in your region. Besides that, go crazy! This game is a dream come true, because how could anyone possibly resist a fusion of the two greatest GTAs of all time?

Next is the Sindacco Chronicles, a rather interesting mod based on the severely underrated GTA: Liberty City Stories, it’s got a ps2 version too currently, as well as many unique collectibles and missions. Check it out!

I'll be damned, they're actually doing what they said before, having someone from single player get something else. Didn't think that would ever happen, given Online has just been boiling the playerbase like a frog.

Still wont play it! Darn you Rockstar! Give me a real single player game you hacks!

Cockstar milking what's left of GTA Online before 6 comes out. I wonder how much they've made off of Shark Cards.
