Normie habits that doesn't click with you

I'm not sure that's normal, I think the entire evening clientele of a diner will beat the brakes and transmission off of your ass for that.
I have never in my life heard of snapping fingers at waiters. Is it one of those things that carry sexual harassment connotations? Like whistling at someone for their looks? Or would you say it’s more akin to someone yelling at a waiter? Either way, that does sound patronizing, from the you and card describe it.
I guess this is giving me culture shock because snapping fingers where I live is something that’s only done at weddings as part of a traditional dance for women.

Anyone who puts ice in my drinks will end up in a body bag the next day.
Just kidding haha I’d never do that, I’d something worse, like send you a copy of KH3.
Does that mean you have a steady supply of KH3 for every people who put ice in your drinks?

People who don't flush. I don't know why or what compels a human to do this. But its proof that were not ready to be ascended into God status cause of this 1 abhorrent error in some people's brains. If we can bring back crucifixions for 1 punishment, it would be for this.

Not sure if this is normie for some but it's too common for me atm, normie home decorator types are what grind my gears. I hate when I walk into a well curated home that looks like they want to look out of a catalog instead of any personality or flaw that looks lived. Tidied up it okay but when I see stuff like a ladder shelf for blankets and throws, weird bead garlands in a bowl, or god forbid chalk painted end tables or the long console table just spray painted on I just sour and hiss at the unnaturalness. Nothing pissing me off more than real wood being covered in a cheap paint job that I know will chip away in a few short years leaving the wood bone dry under it. And double the disgust when it's chalk paint that's unsealed, leaving your hands with a chalk residue and you leaving a mark or stain in return.

My parents watch house hunting and renovation shows, and without fail they talk about how they (the buyers) want to ruin houses. The thing needs to be open (no walls, so no rooms), sterile as a hospital hallway, and have nothing exciting going on. It feels like the intent is to get people out, not in. It feels like everyone reads from a script.

Something else is forced contact with relatives. Like, I'm sorry, why do you have to invade my personal space and touch me when I say no? It's gotten better since I became an adult (and moved to the opposite side of the country to be with my father), but the fact that we're taught as kids to have our consent ignored (and get scolded for not ignoring it, ourselves) is just so very horrible.

Please post, I'm in the same boat as you I'm just too lazy to type anything too long. :3
Oh hell naw, i have no patience to keep writing for a whole entire night and ranting about normies. I would need to write the supreme book of normie hatred to fill everything i have to say, it would be the Normienomicon. Also my definition of normie is probably way different from everyone else here so i better hide my power level

Normienomicon. When used, it summons a bunch of white-bread dudes named Steve who yap endlessly about Marvel movies and Madden.

Why is forgetting your wallet and expecting every store to take Apple pay and have me wait in line while you send your sister/child/husband to get your wallet in the car more and more common now?! I never leave home without my wallet in my pocket and if I don't feel it I panic! And all they go is "Oh you don't take Apple Pay?" No! Move out of the way, they'll suspend the transaction and I can go on my way!

Here, the cashier will politely ask them to step away and let everyone else behind them finish the transaction first, and they will be moved to line up in the queue again.

This is one of those threads where i have to stop myself from posting because it would end up with a massive walltext on everything i hate about normie life

It's just so horrible, isn't it? And it's so normalized that you're going to be looked at weird for calling it out. I chose to pick one thing, but damn is there so much to despise.

On a related note, it's so weird how much people just give away to their phones, isn't it? They stumble over themselves to give away their locations, habits, biometric data (face scan and especially fingerprint unlock), browsing history...like, these corporations view you as cattle. All that stuff you give them is sold to advertisers and, if you aren't in the "safe group", hostile parties. Yet I'm the weird one for taking issue with it.

I've also had people jingle their keys, rap their nails on the counter, clear their throats, and whistle to get my attention instead of just saying 'hey'. So fucking rude. I'm not a dog.
