SignUp Now!That’s legitimately sick actually. Should probably get one too one day. Probably for etna.
I've always heard great things about that game, but I've never got around to trying it myself.I recently purchased the game Return of the Obra Dinn!View attachment 4960

GOG is really easy to spend money on heheI've always heard great things about that game, but I've never got around to trying it myself.
Splurged a bit on GOG over the last little bit, which is okay as splurging on GOG means I spent like 20 bucks maybe on 7 old boomer PC games.

Got FEAR, which should need no introduction or context; it's only one of the greatest sixth gen shooters or something. It's been a long time since I played it (like maybe 15 years?), so I'm greatly looking forward to playing through it again.

Nosferatu: Wrath of Malachi which is an insanely janky cult classic-ish early 2000s FPS. You run around a randomly generated castle which was pretty cool tech for the time. It's recently gotten a resurgence into cult territory from its Civvie11 video like 5 years ago now, which is how I first heard of it.

Finally got motherfuckin' Realms of the Haunting, a unfathomably charming FMV Doom-clone FPS that also is part point-and-click almost. British production, filmed on actual sound stages and sets at times, they oddly went hard on the production of this. It's storyline is so absurdly grandiose involving demons and angels and time travel and Satan this and Knights Templar that, hell yeah man. Almost won the first Interactive Achievement Award back in '96, but Blade Runner beat it out for adventure game of the year and StarCraft beat it for computer game of the year; sad.
Speaking of FMV...

Oh yeah, Phantasmagoria 2. Been wanting to play this for a long time, finally pulled the trigger on it for all of like 2$ I think it was. One of the holy grails of cheesy 90s FMV adventure games with terrible acting and just as terrible video compression. I'm so excited, man.

And finally, all three of the late 90's/early 2000s jank Dracula point-and-click games made by some weird obscure French company. I've read they have some phenomenal atmosphere and are definitely sleeper gems, we'll have to see. I believe the first one is actually supposed to be a sequel to the original novel, and follows it super closely for once unlike most other Dracula adaptations.

I thought about getting it, but I'm still very on the fence about it. Lack of weapons on Ryu is honestly a big miss for me, so maybe down the road I'll get it on sale once the inevitable DLCs are out.View attachment 5002
Already did the first playthrough, going through again with Hayabusa. Probably my favorite Platinum game, or at least up there with Bayo 1 and 2.
Hell yeah, RoboCop: Rogue City. Great little game, I loved it. Also, you just reminded me that Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory exists.GOG is really easy to spend money on hehe
My last couple months or so of GOG purchases:
Yeah, I get that. I always mained Dragon sword anyway so it's less egregious for me, and the new Gleam stance on the sword is super fun, but I still would've liked at least a couple more. We at least know Ryu's getting katar/punch dagger sort of weapons in the first DLC, hopefully we'll get more down the line.I thought about getting it, but I'm still very on the fence about it. All of these are masterpieces. Have fun, vivi.
No clue how good this is as I’m not a good authority on NG but I’m happy you like it.View attachment 5002
