7. AI content is discouraged

It may be removed at the discretion of the staff.
There is no clear line at the moment; just keep in mind that we want to focus on human expression.
Cases that are deemed innocent and for self-use, such as voice changers, simple profile pictures, or coloring of your own artwork, are exempt from this rule or may be easily overlooked. However, spamming AI art or trying to pass AI content as human-made art are clear violations and are not allowed.

I mean, seeing as Sir Auriel of Lionel and myself fall into this category, and we hardly spam our stuff, I think an addendum and exception can be made for these types of AI usage.

Even though AI usage is discouraged if we had troubles in the ways you guys use AI i am pretty sure we would disclosed that already.
From my personal point of view, i personally don’t like the usage of AI on anything creative related. BUT (and this is an important but): We cannot forces our own believes on to you guys… and to be honest, i have soften up about the usage of AI on things like bits and the stuff that you do, i legit find it a cool use of the tools and a neat way of expressing your creativity.
In the end is only my personal view of a tool, and i don’t want to enforce anything… So yeah is not banned or something that will be thrown upon.
We are random adults in the internet and we don’t have to agree on everything, and i like it that way as we wanted the forum to be a place mainly for good vibes and funsies.

But I do think that we needed to put a disclosure about it. Just soo people know that We are not gonna necessarily neither nuke it all nor permit everything, because even if we find you guys works pretty cool, an AI art filled feed is not the vibe we want to go for.

In the end and as TLDR: Thank u soo much for your feedback and we understand that the wording is a lil vague, but we can assure you that you guys have not broken any rules nor you guys are edge cases… this stuff is new and there is a lot of convo to be had about it.

And remember, this is vibe driven forum, we try our best to make this place a fun place to hang out and not a mine field. Soo take the rules more of a guideline and not like a supreme law. Everything can be talked to and we love seeing you guys enjoy the forum :3

Basically thats my own point of view. I am gonna be blunt, and say I have been pretty adverse to the use of AI in general (and tbh my thoughts about AI in general has not changed, is a tool I don’t want ) , but between interactions with other users and my own self reflection, i have soften up. Will i consume/make AI content now? Not really, but i admit that i have seen what other users share and even enjoying the bits they made. Soo yeah, maybe you can say that even though I dont like AI personally, i have come to the conclusion that can be a neat tool and help create neat stuff.

And adding to that, even if I didn’t made that change on my own inside my head, i will reiterate that I will not nuke anything because of what I think. First because we are a staff team, soo we take decisions together. And second because this is a forum made to be fun. And we usually like to talk to the person first before making any changes.

Hopefully it answers your doubt, and i can talk a lil bit more about in the other thread about AI usage. But i also want to say thats this words are my own opinion, other staff members may have different opinions about it :3
