Ive was looking for Xbox 2001 Anniversary shirts a while back and couldnt find them after Microsoft purge the site of them. They also did one for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Wish i bought them back then.
Was it the 20th anniversary t-shirts from Microsoft's website or was it a vintage one from eBay?

its the 20th shirts, from the Xbox gear shop (when that still existed). i did saw some of the 20th merch on ebay but for a high sum.

They do have quite a few on there if you want to have a look, these are from the US. You're right about the gear shop-I checked the site and it's closed down.

now you can burn ps2 discs on them
I wouldn't with these ones except for maybe music. I have a stack of Taiyo Yuden/CMC Pro CD-Rs that I will most certainly use over the mid-to-low range CD-Rs with poor results. The discs shown above are Moser Baer which are okay but not ideal for burning PS2 games; they are bottom-of-the-barrel quality you get from the supermarket and are about the same disc manufacturer for Imation, later-TDKs, and Maxell.

I'd say overall, I can't complain since LightScribe media is very difficult to track down as the discs are no longer made, plus the print quality on the discs so long as you set it to the best results, will be pristine. Just avoid getting your fingerprints on the label if you don't want them to adhere. ;)

Whoa now that's interesting. You would think CD-Roms would have some quality control in terms of performance. Didnt know about this. Thanks broski :mikublush:

Sure thing. CD-Rs that use a phthalocyanine dye (usually having a silver or gold color) is more sensitive to UV light, such as sun exposure, and can yellow and wear down overtime if not properly stored. Secondly, when burning to those discs, the burner must have the laser calibrated to get an accurate power level for the best burns, unlike cheaper burners like the slimline drives that attach via USB, which doesn't have a strong enough EMF signal, to the point where you end up with a higher failure rate after reading back the data (i.e. more C1 errors than less or none). The Plextor burner I own (which I do most of my disc burning) automatically adjusts the power level when it detects what disc is inserted so I don't have to manually tweak anything else.

Plextors are professional-grade, like, used in duplication machines for copying discs on a daily basis. If you're looking at Plextors, you're paying nearly $50 for a used drive alone. They started to decline in quality around 2007 after the PX-760 series when they began re-badging OEM drives that aren't manufactured by Plextor. I'd say the Lite-On iHAS124 or Lite-On Premium would be the best choice if you could find one for cheap, so long as it works.

Thanks for all the info, a surprising amount of depth for disc-burning here...

If I had you by my side a couple of years ago when I found these guys at my own thrift store, maybe you could of helped. I thought I struck gold because I was like "Damn, I can burn GAMECUBE games now!?" but turns out they don't seem to work.
Now they just sit on my shelf as a reminder lol. Look how cute they are!
