Finished Tsui no Sora. I see why it's rated so low on VNDB: it's not great! It's got some really neat ideas, and it makes sense why SubaHibi is considered a contender for the best VN of all time, with this game as its base. Mamiya's madness was great, and I really enjoyed experiencing the world through his insane eyes. I love the imagery the most out of all his delusions. Specifically...
Zakuro.png
This. The way the roots creep out of her memorial vase until they form a disfigured shape that's undeniably Zakuro's corpse is such incredible imagery. I understand how arguably one of the best VNs of all time (SubaHibi) was born from the base of TnS.

I like to put rules to myself, so, I can't mention any puyo puyo or TCG.

Mmmh... I guess Super Metroid X Fusion in that case, I almost never play tho, mostly because I do other things. If I should count other games, I guess I should mention Silksong too, but I only play it from time to time, I'm more focused in SMXF because I want to try it in easy after finish it in normal, I'm curious how different it'll be. (Even after I finish SMXF, I probably still not give Silksong that much time, I may focus my attention in Higurashi Jan)

In a happy timeline, I would've said Mahjong Soul too, but the log screen is awfully bugged in Linux.

I've recently been playing Killer7, and yesterday I finished chapter/mission Target04: Alter Ego. Holy shit, that mission/chapter was awesome! Especially the ending! The Handsome Men are delightful. I loved how the mission takes place in a Dominican town, and I also really liked the music and the visuals of the town. In terms of narrative, this mission/chapter isn't as important as Cloudman and Encounter, but even so, I find it very interesting how this mission/chapter deals with the theme of how propaganda is enforced through the media we consume to the point we don’t even notice. The Handsome Men are popular heroes, but in reality, they serve to promote the ideas and work of the government. Through this, they also instill these ideas in children, like how Con is a fan. We even learn the company of the comic was going to be bought out by another company related to propaganda. Lastly but certainly not least, with Kun Lan’s appearance at the end of the chapter, it proves it was just another chess move between him and Harman shown like an online game, further solidifying both the Handsome Men and Killer7 as nothing more than pawns, or rather playable characters. You could even argue the group is a showcase of a foreign concept being completely Westernized, since their clearly based on Super Sentai, which was westernized into the Power Rangers.

I hope so, too. I played the PSP release when it came out, but it wasn't all that great. I got up to just before the Shadows. I feel like a lot of it was the gameplay and Shadow Maya's dungeon, then never touched it again.
Oh yeah, the original PSX version of Innocent Sin is actually better than the PSP remaster.
Here is a good video that explains the differences between the original PSX version and the PSP Remaster.

I've heard about that kind of stuff, before. And IS' weird translation so far has been pretty good...even if it was so strange that I looked up its accuracy and cross-checked it with Oracle of Maiya's to confirm that yeah, it did get across what was meant.

It being a fan translation is more trustworthy, too. Official localizations having difficulty dealing in unpleasant topics can cause problems. Fans don't care about that stuff, because it's free.

Oh, right. That's a really annoying issue people have, huh. The very large focus on things being "official" when it comes to translations, like there's actually any value in that. I get that emulation is far from perfect (you could argue some consoles aren't even good), but like...come on, are you really going to spend two hundred US dollars for the worse version of a game just so you can play it?

About 60+ hours deep into Hello Kitty Island Adventure. Inching ever closer to that sweet platinum trophy!

Otherwise, I've been taking my time with my first playthrough of Psychonauts:

And messing around with a 2nd playthrough of Dragon Quest XI for my RPG fix:
