Delisted games you own?

I didn't realize both Max Payne's were delisted, damn. Also, I see half that Senran Kagura thumbnail there.

I have the Ultimate Alliance 1+2 remasters permanently installed on my PS5 hard drive, they went down like not even a year after the game released. On my 360 (that unfortunately barely works anymore) I have the Konami X-Men arcade game remaster that also went down not even a year after launch; it's the definitive version of course. There's probably a few more I have with my PS5 or Steam account, but I can't remember off the top of my head.

Yeah. :(

That’s one of the spin-offs. It’s a massage simulator (yes… really), it’s super short without any real content. It’s not like the musou mainline games.

That’s a steal. And yes, very true. Deadpool too! But I have a pirated copy of DP on my steam deck so I didn’t show it.

Have you gotten Prey? It’s surprisingly still up despite not being on steam anymore.

The opposite happened with FEAR 1, where it’s on steam but delisted from Xbox. Weird, huh?

Nah I've never played Prey, but it's on my list of janky 7th Gen shooters to play.

Licensing rights are so strange, honestly. They can get so specific and intricate like that.

I have the original Steam release of Neverwinter Nights 2, which I got so far back that I actually purchased physically and it had instructions on the back of the box on how to add it to your Steam library. Pretty sure that was delisted a long time ago, even before the Enhanced Edition.

I’ve actually never heard much about this game, what could you tell me about it? Your analysis can be quite helpful.
It was essentially a Diablo style action-RPG combined with some MMO elements, kinda similar to the recent Diablo games now that I think about it. There was a story mode that would bring you around to just about every major Marvel locale, there were some raid style group instances, special patrol maps of endless goons to beat up, etc. For its time it had a great free-to-play premium model; every 10 minutes you were guaranteed premium currency to drop from enemies ('eternity splinters') with more sometimes dropping based on your special find stat, you could buy any hero with this once you saved, they were each like 400-600 splinters I believe. The loot chase was very similar to Diablo 2 which made sense since it was made by David Brevik, one of the lead designers on D2; grind heavy, there were literally runewords, crafting was involved. It had some great character power trees near the end of its life, some of the characters were absolutely fun to play and really captured the power fantasy of them, and they had some really cool skill tree ideas with the talent system and the way they would flow in rotations. Great game, died due to terrible management with the CEO being a known business grifter. Sad.

In regards to what I digitally own:

GTA Trilogy (PS2 Classics on PS4)
Soul Calibur I, II, and V (360 releases)
Sonic 06 (360)
Mushihimesama (Switch)
Sega Genesis Classics (Switch)
Mortal Kombat 9 (360)

At least, those are some that I picked up before they were removed from sale - that said, the main reason to soft mod the PS3 for me was to play the PS3 release of Marvel Vs Capcom 2 and other delisted titles I originally had missed.

MK9, GTA trilogy and Doom II, final doom and the master levels is some that i can recall rn :3 (The ultimate doom was replaced by Doom I+2, although i can still access the og wads and the og release via the beta feature of steam)

I also own warcraft 1 and 2 on GOG :3

And Fire Emblem 1 on the switch cause Nintendo is fucking silly and made it a limited release

P.T for PS4

They've done FEAR dirty. You can't buy it standalone on steam, only on GOG (which is fine). But also, the worse version of FEAR is the one that's on steam.... and it's always more expensive than the GOG one LOL

Also in terms of the games that I own? I would have said Scott Pilgrim vs The World The Game on XBOX 360, but now that's on switch and steam, of which I have it on switch

I have all the games from the Dreamcast collection released by Sega in the 2010s. (I bought all these games here via my Steam account)

I also bought Duke Nukem 3D: Megaton Edition on Steam a long time ago (this is by far the best version of Duke Nukem 3D and is way better than 20th Anniversary World Tour, since Megaton Edition has more content than World Tour, plus Megaton has all the expansion packs that were released).

You can still buy the games off Steam here: https://store.steampowered.com/sub/604/ - not sure if it's available in your country, that may be why.

Max Payne 2 was once delisted before off Steam around circa 2010 due to Rockstar using a no-CD crack for the game, which was supplied by Myth, as they couldn't be bothered to hire someone to crack the SecuROM protection - this isn't the last time they would do this. https://www.pcworld.com/article/512715/cracked_max_payne_2.html
