Basically another one of my creative rambles

I feel this drawing arc of mine has been going on for at least a year
But I actually think I had decent progress in terms of getting into the right mindset
I found out producing pieces weekly or even monthly is better than doing it everyday which to be fair yeah duh of course that caused me to burn out
I produced around four pieces this year. Though i only shared it with a few friends in dms and with my fellow mod/friends on RGT.
I’d like some place to archive them though. I don’t know if deviantart is the place to go but it seems picked up by a lot of my art acquaintances. It’s a bit too public though which is my concern.

I’ve a few characters in mind, like hat kid, the ninja girl from disgaea or Kurara from hundred line.

I struggle to apply advices. Had a hard time understanding what my acquaintances suggest me to do cuz I have no real drawing background to speak of.

This’ll mostly be a journalistic thread though because even in a forum as tiny as this I’m still not quite comfortable publicly showing my stuff.

Don’t be discouraged though. I’m not against people volunteering to see my art in dms so feel free to volunteer to give suggestions and ideas privately if you want. I’m closed off, but I’m not that closed off. Don’t expect anything crazy though, I’m strictly doing this for the therapeutic value of it, rather than gain a new skill. It helps me relax and I’ve definitely been pretty stressed out lately.

Its better imo if you post it in the dump thread in this site. The low userbase and the fact people you are aware of can see it will help. Posting your work here in a tight knit community would be more beneficial for you compared to lets say Deviantart or Pixiv. Plus it can be more rewarding to see your art as you continue to grow. Either from showing them too people or skill

Don't be discourage of skill. Practice and proper time is what separates you from those who don't put time into a skill. You should never be embarassed of your drawings. No matter how bad they may be.
