That mouse with water and fish on it just activates something in my brain
I'm thinking of getting one of these, and I've been thinking of doing so for quite a long while now. Following there being quite a resurgence for water-filled mice, they're becoming quite expensive and difficult to find—especially where I am. There is one right now on AliExpress that comes in exactly the same moulding but only has a modern mouse sensor and has a USB-C port on the top, which I'm not a fan of—I prefer the classic ball mice because they can glide freely, and I have a keyboard that has a PS/2 port on the side. That mouse with water and fish on it just activates something in my brain
Ooh, this is right up my alley. There were a number of games in retrospect, but it really felt like your options were very few and far between in those days. I was thinking about this fairly recently, even, with how there aren't as many good options in those days.
A great video on how japanese rpg makers dealt with the rise and fall of the HD era and then coming back from the stagnation during the PS3 era.
This seems to be a hot topic atm huh. I simply look & follow certain artists on YT but apparently that's enough to flood all my art video recommendations concerning this person. Like I see this person is getting roasted in every 2nd video. And deserves it, they had it coming. I NEVER even knew "green screen" tracing was a thing, shits insane. Maybe I didn't watch this video in particular but I'm sure it touches similar points.
People like this are scum of the earth. Finally getting justice on them is a blessing. I didnt know about that site called vgen? Never knew about it and the requirements are harder then getting a true bladestone in Demon souls or obtaining a toko familiar in Ni No Kuni. how did people not know it was ai art from the sweater alone is baffling. If you drawn that well but can't draw braids then thats a red flag. I get you cant draw a gun so well but you can always use a 3D Model or references. The fact the back of the gun has a nozzle and not in the front and no one said anything is crazy. This seems to be a hot topic atm huh. if it’s any consolation this is my first time finding out too. Absolutely mental how far people will go.NEVER even knew "green screen" tracing was a thing, shits insane. Maybe I didn't watch this video in particular but I'm sure it touches similar points.
This one is a bit less interesting than Manhunt because all functions are handled by SafeDisc, and is one of the more relaxed protections that is, at best, not-so difficult to crack. As long as you monitor its decryption routines, breakpoint what is necessary and write it back once it's passed the protection (Luca91 has a good writeup here on SafeDisc 1.x). SafeDisc and other protections from the late-90s used a basic CD check which was easy to bypass. Tools like OllyDbg have plugins to mask the presence of a debugger, and most virtual-drive software can 1:1 replicate the original disc (+ protection) such as DAEMON Tools or Alcohol 120%.The return of badger goodger
Here's one of the more aggregious forms of DRM around that time, known as StarForce, which acted like a rootkit-of course, it's from a Russian company. The return of badger goodger
