I'd say that's a good idea. Some people would rather not see the really lewd stuff on the front page, so those discussions could be fully opt in. You could also make those sections only available to people who have used the forum a while (once the forum has existed a while and our userbase is bigger.) That'll give you time to vet new users to see if they give away signs of being underage and/or too immature.

Yeah, it should have its own section. Seeing users getting horny on main is only funny the first few times. That said, you should be clear about what kind of NSFW isn't acceptable or new users are going to assume it's a free-for-all.

It really does depend:

Does your (current) membership have a problem with that kind of content being present on the board? If not, then no change needed.

BUT (and this is an important "but") if you are playing the long game, then you don't want to scare potential new members off by letting them stumble blind into that stuff in the wild. People have complained for less elsewhere on the net.
